Your crew, your choice to share
Your editable session is stored in your browser. A shared snapshot is visible to anyone who has its complete link.
What is saved locally
Nicknames, the court plan, marked played history, optional final scores, the last undo action and your sound preference can be saved in this browser’s local storage. DinkCircle does not use a login, player database, analytics or advertising code.
Local storage belongs to this browser, device and website origin. It is not cross-device sync. A session from another browser or the earlier ChatGPT Site will not automatically appear here.
Browser settings, private browsing, storage limits or clearing data can prevent saving or erase a saved session. Print or export a copy you need to keep.
What a snapshot reveals
Its URL fragment contains the schedule, nicknames, played history and any recorded final scores. Anyone with the complete link can read it, copy it and forward it. The snapshot is not encrypted, password protected or live-synced. Use nicknames you are comfortable sharing.
The fragment is decoded in the viewer’s browser and is not sent with the HTTP page request. Viewing a snapshot does not save it as the viewer’s editable session.
Changes, score corrections and resets on your device do not update or revoke old links; send a new link when the plan changes.
Search engines and hosting
Public information pages can be indexed. Shared snapshot routes return noindex directives in their HTML and HTTP headers and are excluded from the sitemap. Older homepage-fragment snapshot links move to the dedicated shared route in the browser. Indexing directives are requests to crawlers, not access control or a guarantee of secrecy.
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and may process ordinary connection information, including IP addresses and request URLs. The app does not put player names or results into query strings, sitemap URLs, social metadata or server-side session records. The URL fragment is not sent in the page request.
Exports, resetting and sound
Print and CSV downloads can include nicknames and recorded scores. You decide where to keep or send those files. Reset clears the saved session on this device; it does not delete exported files or links held by other people. Ask recipients to delete a link if you want it removed from circulation.
Paddle sound is optional, synthesized in your browser and off by default. The app requests no microphone access. Fonts and images are served with the site rather than loaded from third-party font or image services.
